Next, fly to Savute Safari Lodge in the rugged west of the Chobe region.
A handful of small pans sustain Savute's thousands of animals with
a permanent yet fragile water source. Visitors after the November
rains may be fortunate enough to spot lions, hyenas and zebras. Guides
will take you to the nearby Gubatsa Hills, adorned with ancient rock
paintings. After two nights here, fly to Kasane and transfer to Matetsi
Lodge, magnificently located on the banks of the Zambezi River. This
unbeatable location offers you endless opportunity for exploring the
waterways and the wildlife that thrives here. Victoria Falls is a
short drive away, and is an added highlight of staying at Matetsi.
