Explore the surrounding desert, and the world's highest dunes: at over 2,000 feet of blood-red sand, they are truly spectacular. You may like to arrange an optional balloon ride over the dunes. Fly to Windhoek for a night. Namibia's capital city is an easy, pleasant place to explore, with charming colonial architecture, and fine opportunities for craft shopping. Fly to Etosha National Park for two nights in one of Southern Africa's best wildlife parks.
