This delightful program
focuses on the many attractions of the Cape area of
South Africa. Start with three nights in Cape Town at
the luxurious Cape Grace Hotel, and explore this charming
city of cobbled streets, vibrant market squares, and
stunning gardens. Enjoy some of the world's finest food
and wine against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery.
Set out on a self-drive exploration of the famed Whale
Route and Garden Route. Spend two nights in Hermanus
at The Marine, which boasts an intimate atmosphere and
views of Walker Bay and the Overberg Mountains. Hermanus
is famed as the finest land based whale-watching destination
in the world. Next, drive along the scenic Garden Route:
the excursion will take you over the Robinson Pass en
route to Oudsthoorn, known for its ostrich farms and
the nearby Cango Caves. Spend one night in Oudsthoorn
before continuing on to Plettenberg Bay. The Plettenberg
Hotel is a paradise for lovers of luxury, sun, and sea.
Drive to the Eastern Cape and turn inland to Kwandwe
Private Game Reserve. Track the "Big Five"
while on safari with experienced rangers and enjoy guided
nature walks along the riverbanks with an experienced
tracker. Drive to Port Elizabeth and catch a flight
to Johannesburg for an overnight stay. Fly to the incomparable
Londolozi Private Game Reserve, where two nights are
spent absorbing the sights and sounds of this extraordinary
safari camp. Fly back to Johannesburg in time to connect
with your departure flight.
