Start with four nights at the lovely Cape Grace Hotel in Cape Town, one of Africa's loveliest cities. Spend a full day touring the famed wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. This is a region of elegant estates set amidst rolling vineyards. Lovers of fine food, wine, and gracious architecture will be delighted at this portion of their trip. Also tour the city of Cape Town, whose waterfront is a bustling quarter of boutiques, cafes, markets and restaurants. Weather permitting, take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the coast. Spend a full day touring Cape Point and the many villages en route. The peninsula is a fascinating realm for plant lovers, a unique ecosystem that is home to many plants not found anywhere else. After savoring the diverse pleasures of Cape Town's environs, fly to Johannesburg and continue to Londolozi Private Game Reserve, which adjoins Kruger National Park. The reserve is home to almost all the great species of flora and fauna: lion, elephant, rhino, and almost all of South Africa's antelope species. Spend two full days in total luxury in Londolozi. Enjoy morning and evening game drives as well as guided bush walks led by a professional ranger. After the safari, return to Johannesburg for your departure flight.
